I thought semi-auto's were not easy to get endorsed in India...
That being said the .351 cartridge is pretty much obsolete. I do not believe anyone is manufacturing any ammo for it currently, nor do I think anyone is manufacturing brass or bullets.
You probably would need to to form barss from .357 Maximum and cast your own bullets.
My advise to you since you are in Punjab would be... do not buy the gun. Unless you want a display piece. If you already own the gun, sell it.
Not the news you want to hear... but that is how it is. Sorry.
Here is link for you

...that's a new one.
That oddity apart, selling a semi-auto/self-loader however you might like to term it, will be difficult since it would fall under Category 1(b), Schedule I of Arms Rules 1962 - In simple words it is classed as a prohibited bore(PB).
Presumably, its endorsed on your license by the MHA as a PB.
Its very very difficult for most Indian citizens to get hold of a PB license....on that count you'll probably have difficulty selling it.
While your rifle's cartridge is Non Prohibited, it'll certainly be less common.
Converting ammunition to another is probably going to be interpreted as 'manufacturing' if one were to go strictly by the rules.
Messing around with ammo with less than reasonable proficiency is not a healthy practice. More so with a recoil operated semi-automatic.

The .351 W. S. L would be sold around Rs.15,000.
The company stopped manufacturing ammo around 40-50 years ago.
A dealer in my knowledge has about 10 cartridges and is asking Rs.350 for each.

By Winchester .351 do u mean the 6 Round Self Loading Rifle made between 1904 and 1908. A friend of mine has that and the guy has been searching for the ammo for the past one whole year, unsuccessful though.

Re: Need ammo for.351 cal. Winchester self loading rifle.
I inherited a Mannlicher .355 .(along with 15 odd carts). Inspite of beings really old they fired well.
Sold it soon after the Ammo got over.
Asked a Gun dealer the price (of ammo). Was told Rs 450 /= for a cartridge.
And this is almost 10 years ago. Wonder what they would cost today?
