What the IOF needs is the equivalent of the MARUTI-to break the stranglehold of the Ambassador and Fiat Padmini :deadhorse:
Say, the same design of the 22LR, but in an all steel frame, decent rifling -these guys have a gold mine , but only want to churn out Paan thook

Hello friends,
I have been following this 'great' forum since long however I have registered today.

I am in the process of getting my licence of .32 revolver and I think if every thing goes well I should have it in hand in another 2 to 3 weeks time. All police work is done but unfortunately, now, my 'all complete tehsil copy of form' has got misplaced / lost by them. I'll have to get the tehsil job done again.

In the form wherein they ask - weapon required - I have mentioned '0.32 Revolver' however someone has suggested that you write 0.32 Revolver / pistol so that the licence is issued with 0.32 revolver / pistol both.

Any inputs from licence holders will be of great benefit.

Best Regards...

Hi ssmickey.32
Welcome to the club, well it might be better if you mention " NPB(non prohibited bore) REVOLVER/PISTOL OR GUN". Good luck.

The biggest difference between m1 and m2 is that m1 has a fixed striking hammer which tends to break sometimes where as m2 has an enclosed independent striking pin which can never break. But there is hardly any difference in m2 and m3

Dear gunners
As I came to know that IOF Kanpur is going to enhance length of barrel (2”) total length of barrel would be 5” and introducing in side electroplated barrels to prevent rusting

I think now it is implemented
