Nothing wrong with the HW35, it's an airgunning classic but to pick that over some of the other HWs.....

Thanks Ranjeet !Ranjeet Singh wrote:Hi Sujay,
there are many people out there who are into some serious airgunning. And maybe you and Mack The Knife are also into it big time.
Thanks

Must be a HW35 day. A gent came over with two air-rifles asking me to get them back on song and one of them happens to be a '35.Ranjeet Singh wrote:Thanks Again, Mack The Knife, I'll keep that in mind.
About the longer barrel...I remember in our previous discussions, you had mentioned that shorter barrels because of the shorter lock time give better accuracy.
Any idea why in the first place the HW 35, export models came with longer barrels? would again improve my understanding...I have read about shotgun barrel lengths where previously it was powder burning slowly and then pointability improvement considerations with barrel lengths upto 81 cms or even 84.
Is it something like to attain full velocity a longer barrel is better in airguns- longer push - more velocity with the drawback of barrel droop ?
Or am I completely wrong - in the sense longer barrel more friction and lesser velocity...
Which way is the reasoning?
