I feel dirty, like a troll ;) Nothing can be further from the truth Mack The Knife. I didn't have a silver spoon to begin with. I'm just encouraging healthy competition, truly in the spirit.

I wish you the best of luck, will look forward to the catches.

I think we should start an IFG Hall of Fame purely based on Honor system. I think GG's catch will be the first entry. Individuals should submit to the Hall of Fame and moderators can accept it in Hall of fame only if it exceeds the previous record for that species. Wonder if using professional services should be allowed. :)

Good try NR
Fishing with a plug/spoon/spinner is always rather more exiting than bait fishing - and the take from a 43 pounder must have been heart pounding !

Congrats GG,

This reminds me of Walvan Dam Lonavala. It was my day had no rod or any particular Bait, used Wheat atta as a bait borrowed from a local guy. and got a mahasheer in 30 mins, when weighed it was 6.5 Kgs, took me 45 mins to pull him out of water.

Anyone interested in fishing and having fun can take a permission from Dam officials for a nominal fee and have fun, I bet u wont end up disaapointed.

Cheers Emery
