Very good looking. How and where did you use the dremel tool?
I am also inspired to attempt a DIY project.

Damascus knife blade from ebay. Indian seller in ebay .com was willing to ship within India for Rs.600. Selected 4 blades from ebay .com site and he made a seperate listing in ebay india. Quality is good with deep etching. Blunt edges.

Excellent job on the handle, Anand, bro!

Small suggestion, can you try brass rivets rather than the star bolts? Rivets would probably go better with the antique look of the knife.
Cheers!

Wow... that is great work on the handle..

Stylish curve towards the butt yet maintaining the utility and aesthetics of knife...

Cheers

Thanks pratik_mahale, Dr.Jayakumar and RrahulKumar.
Thanks esdee. My first attempt, so wanted it to be less complicated. Moreover in the small market near me i could not source even a brass nail. will have to try and get some from Coimbatore (150km drive :p) brass rods and brass pieces.
