Yeah the Argonne Assault is a wicked knife! Too bad we cant have it over here. If we could, I'd buy two...one in each hand!
Here are some more pics
The smoothening on the finish is visible. This isnt a safe queen!
A close up of that beautiful tigerhide micarta
.25 inch thick INFI!
Heres the infamous "skull crusher" pommel
Check out excellent craftsmanship of this handmade leather sheath!
The X-loop on the back of the sheath is an excellent idea! I personally dont use it because I dont like horizontal carry and in vertical carry it rides too high due to the size of the knife, but in a smaller knife it would make for a very versatile sheath.
I've been thinking of adding a piggyback knife. The knives I'm considering are the Swamp Rat Rodent Solution, BRKT Little Caper or other BRKTs. There are small busses that I could look out for but while they would make a great looking pair, I feel INFI only really shines in the large knives. Any other suggestions are welcome and encouraged! Please do tell what you think would compliment this. I'm leaning towards the BRKTs. Mack The Knife, you have a great collection of BRKTs! Your advice would be appreciated.
Another problem is how to piggyback it. One way is to lash the smaller knife sheath to this sheath using the X-loop (only if it will fit-theres about 5 inches of useable space on the face of the sheath). The option is to get another sheath made by local leather workers. I know there are some excellent leahter shops around.
