Nice one Herb 85 dont have iron sights and yes heard and read nice things about this rifle ..Baljit owns one in 7 mm I think
Currently only Bavarian has iron sights and its $2000 rifle kind of pricey...

Lovely rifle, Herb. The Sakos I handled had some of the slickest and smoothest actions I know.Almost like the Enfield.
@Navi, many models in the 85 series have iron sights.

I agree but only Bavarian has full complement of calibers Kodiak bear etc are only in two or three limited calibers ...
I go see them every month and these guys let me handle them feel sorry for me in a way...no permission from home minister and I have no choice but this place dont like T3 feel too much...they even fix my shotty for free these days.Wonderful guns but they are so expensive one day a guy walked in purchased $10K plus 416 caliber safari rifle.. doesnt Asif have a Jefferies double in same caliber?

About 3.4 kg/7.5 lbs. I have a Winchester pre-64 Model 70 30-06 and I think this feels about the same.

This is a beautiful rifle no doubt, but which one is better in firing n balance sako or Winchester mod.70 ?
