It came back undelivered from 48 places  and Sonia Gandhi was one of them
Couldn't have guessed it but, anyways its good as many places it reaches yet.
Just tried to do give my 2 cents. Real job was done by people like GBM.

I seriously believe it is time that this war be fought on roads, govt. offices and courts .. not on the internet. Not sure how much we can change by sending emails.
Well, till we take the next big leap, at least the email weapon should be used religiously

we need updated email list and address for hard copy.
The addresses, phone numbers and emails of MPs are available at:

Lok Sabha MPs http://164.100.47.132/LssNew/Members/partylist.aspx
Rajya Sabha MPs http://164.100.47.5/Newmembers/partyaddlist.aspx

So far hardly any MP is aware that RKBA is a fundamental right guaranteed by our Constitution. A personal meeting with the MPs to appraise them of the Constitutionally guaranteed fundamental right of RKBA being affected by the game being played by PC would be the most effective. I would request everyone to talk about this matter with their friends, colleagues, relatives etc. to find out if anyone knows any of the MPs so that MPs can be contacted personally by you.

After a bit more than an year down this road, I have one suggestion. Whenever writing to your representatives - make it short, one or AT MAX two A4 size pages is the absolute limit! You are not addressing a court of law, so legalese can & should be dispensed as far as possible. Remember this is a subject close to your heart and not their's! If you wish you can add a link to the NAGRI website at the end ( www.gunowners.in ) - so they know where they can get more material from, if they choose to find out more.

Talk about citizens needs/ wants, give a short rational argument and close with an appeal to safeguarding citizen's interests.

That said, great initiative - if everyone begins to write to their representatives it should begin to be discussed in the corridors of power and be taken up as a serious issue.

An alternative to e-mail can be the humble postcard sold by Indian Post for INR 0.50 per piece. It's small with limited space, will also enforce the need to get your message across in as few words as possible.

HTH :)

Cheers!

I agree with Abhijeet, it was long.
In fact I had held it up for one day, asking that if any amends are to be made - before I send it out to the MPs.
Perhaps one day was too short however 24th is near so I had no other option but to send as is.
I should have tried to amend it myself.

By the way, how about a signature campaign.
Whenever the NAGRI representatives meet the MPs next, apart from sending the message it'll be a good way to show that NAGRI representatives are not merely acting on their own and that they do represent a fraternity among the common people. Many times politicians assume such bodies to be lacking support among masses and hence don't pay much heed. We need to throw some crackers at their ear drums.

This effort is really appreciated.

But the initial post suggests that everyone spoke something about the issue but for the PM!?
