It’s a majestic gun (compared to its Indian counterparts). Had a friend get it from Olympic Sports, a small shop behind Lal bazaar police station in Calcutta for Rs 2,700. The same rifle at Hyderabad cost Rs 5,500 to 6,000 (talk about % of profit) 
. It’s got a lovely stock, trigger gets softer after about 50 shots, and over all a solid build.I took out a crow (head shot) perched at 39 meters on a post with open sights
. Aimed about 1 ½ inches above the head of the crow to get the trajectory path. In all honesty, I never expected to hit the crow… never. I guess must have been by fluke. Hook or crook, to get a clean kill at that distance really made me look at the rifle with respect. Mind you, the rifle is not yet tuned. Got very excited about the range of kill, I borrowed a Leica laser distance meter from my office to get the distance. Attached are a few photographs of my test on the rifle.
Pellets used were Master Shot wad cutter (flat nose).
The target was shot with 6 pellets at 9.7 meters (space constraint. Will update once I take it to a field).

These pellets were shot at a metal frame about 14 meters away. I have to shoot from my 1st floor balcony to the frame some distance away in another wing on the building hence cannot place a target.
Note the even force of impact and the impact spread.

Tirths from what I gather, has played around with the IHP and Canon and knows both guns in and out. I guess he would be the right person to shed some more light if required.
My suggestion (though many may disagree) go for the Canon 65
.
