Sunny,

Welcome to IFG.Glad you joined us.Before, we find a gun for you, this is not an internet market place where one just pops in picks a gun and goes.Post an introduction in the relevant section so that our members get to know you. Take time to go thorough the forum to understand how it works and all the info it has.
There is a "Wanted" section at the bottom of the boards where you can post your wanted ad.Hang around and have fun.

Best-
Vikram

Welcome aboard Sunny.

As mentioned, there is a ton of information on the forum here but it is expected of you to participate in it for a while before you start requesting favors. So it is in the hope of a long friendship here that I send my greetings!

Unfortunately I live in the USA, but should you visit here you are welcome to come and shoot my 1894 if the opportunity ever presents itself! While they are not a bench-rest target rifle, they shoot well and are one of the most comfortable rifles to actually carry in ones hand, as opposed to looking pretty just sitting in a gun rack on the wall.

If anyone else is interested, wikipedia has a nice entry on them:

I have being always fascinated with under lever, i guss that comes naturally when u grow u watchin loads of DIrty harry good old classic western movies.
But when i used to ask my grand father about it, he said that it didnt make a great gun for hunting and some how he never enjoyed using it. He always found the underlever action tight and rough, not smooth as bolt.
But even after hearing all that, the fascination hasnt gone away, i would love to try it some day :)
Even in US, all those whom i know, they didnt have this :(

Any one here in delhi has it :)
