Gunless but all for it
Okay, I have been a long-time lurker in this forum. Now finally decided to take the plunge and got myself registered. I am from extreme South India and working in labor-class of the IT sector. I wanted to own a gun for quite sometime now but never really gave it serious thought.
Now, things have changed. I am seriously considering applying for a licence. The reason: A general feeling of insecurity prevailing in the state. No, I am not talking about terrorist attacks or bomb blasts; but, rather smaller things. The general disregard for other's life or property, the armed robberies, the anti-social elements killing random people just because they can, the hacking down of one's trees and other farm products, etc. Me, I don't want any trouble. I just don't want to be unarmed and unprepared if trouble ever decides to visit my house or my property. Specifically, I want a gun so that I can live in peace.
Enough ranting.
See you all around in the main forum.

You want more gun control? Use both hands!
