new kid on the block

Post by seejay » Sat Mar 06, 2010 12:15 pm

hello everyone, as u can see, hav just joined in. now a short intro- am basically from cal(ie. kolkata), an old centre of zamindari hunting and gun culture, as u all must know already. . am pissed off at the destruction of natural habitat and the march of so-called civilization. also do a little fishing with just small hooks, line and any old longish stick. passionate for collecting guns, knives. hav a westley richards 12-bore side by side dubby and one IOF .22 rifle, which surprisingly shoots pretty straight and is quite rugged, unlike what their recent production is, from what i hear. also hav one .177 Diana 46, a multipump .22 Daisy, another Diana .22 mod 35 and a variety of Victorinoxes, Mulays and a buck Knife. oh yeah, got some Khukris too. The above are STRICTLY NOT FOR SALE-so long as i live. Thought i was the only crazee guy (outside the West ) till i stumbled on this site. Already a big fan of "Vikram" on this site and am terribly envious of "Buck". i find ur opinions pretty much match mine---i feel at home here. So, ROCK ON, mates. Fondest regards to all--seejay.

Welcome to the site Seejay,

Textspeak (Sms language) is not really liked on this forum, so please edit your post accordingly. Hunting is banned in INDIA so I hope you are leaving “the bacchas” outside INDIA or doing legal way, If not then please edit your post ASAP as we don’t really do/ discuss anything remotely illegal on this board or otherwise.

Sorry to sound a bit harsh but its in the interest of whole shooting fraternity

Welcome once again

hiya, nagarifle. trust you to reply sharpish. first off the blocks. my collection i mentioned--well, am far away from it for the present. so i've kept them with a gundealer pal of mine for safekeeping etc. not surprised to see u posted a Brno mk 2 for sale..man, if that gun cud just speak.....luvly place, great proud people--good our govt in one way is not taking too much interest in it. otherwise u know, wherever they go the place just goes downhill with so-called process of civilization. BTW, saw the Gamo .177 Hunter Extreme air rifle on one site--if seeing is believing, then we cud be on to sumthing. Pity about the govt and its DRACONIAN rules--really...those jokers need a reality check. only reason the IOF .22 i got is good is that it is one of the first off the production lines. i believe the new INSAS rifle now coming out is utter C**P ! it was decent enough initially. c u around.
