You want more gun control? Use both hands!

Time for another cup of early gray with English marie :)
Given the financial constraint of lets say 50K, what you suggest buying local U/O or buy good quality SxS. One might be able lay hands on some decent english make like BSA.
I am asking this 100% trap event usage. What would help one reach MQS, beside practice :)

I think that Grumpy appears to cover the bases here, but there's one aspect to the SxS vs. O/U comparison:
O/Us need to break open further, in order for the lower barrel to be accessed. How much more would depend on the geometry of the design, but it's plain to see that it must open further than a SxS.

Whether this is a big deal to anyone or not, I don't know. I expect that it may cause a little more inconvenience in a blind, but that would depend on many things.

I don't have any cream cakes handy, but I sure would like a tin of those Scottish shortbread cookies about now!

Between Timmy and Grumpy, there's going to be an acute shortage of 'piggin out ' pastries and shortbread :D
