Drunk men mow down UP cop for booking them

Posts that don't fit into any other category. If it's anything to do with guns, it probably doesn't belong here!

It's not just guns, it can be anything like vehicles and hockey sticks etc. that can be instruments for attack and murder:

Do you think before you write stuff like this? Did you read at all the contents posted in the links?
The guys who did this were drunk and arrested earlier that day for being a nuisance. That Inspector was doing his duty so that those drunks would not run over other people who could be anyone, including people like you or me or our family members. What you should be saying is a thank you to the officer who was injured.
http://www.hindu.com/2010/02/20/stories ... 100100.htm
The sub-inspector is admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of Kailash Hospital with fractures in his legs and arms. His condition is said to be critical. According to Inspector Waliyan, the men on being stopped at the check-post told the police team that they were coming from a police station.

“It was only later that we got to know that they were the same persons who were earlier booked for creating public nuisance and later released on bail,” he added.
Could you please use English, instead of Hindi as our readers all are not familiar with it?Thank you.

Passing random comments, especially pointless and insensitive ones, is definitely not a sign of maturity and certainly not "Cool".

No one is asking for your apology nor is one expected.Freedom of speech is a right, isn't it?Not a license.Just as you posted on a public forum using your right to say what you wanted, using that very right and liberty, I was pointing to the insensitivity, thoughtlessness and callousness of your post towards someone who was trying to do his duty.Say, you were chatting to your friends in a private conversation, I would not have a right to butt-in.Different.

Extremely unfortunate and regrettable comment :( . Unless done as purely as an act of self defense(as allowed by Section 96 to Section 106 of the Indian Penal Code) against life threatening violence to save oneself, violence against any human being under any reason however grand it might appear to be, cannot be a cause for praise. Moreover corruption is a systemic problem, removal of one individual or more from the system is not going to make any changes to the system itself. Loss of one or more person from the system will be compensated by others joining the same system.

cool it guys

nothing needs to be taken personal ... only because, we never know what was the true scene on the " scene of crime " ! and as it is how many cops are sure are not corrupt ? are you that sure that this cop (who died while doing his so-called DUTY) was not corrupt ?

This is a public (moderated) forum , as far as i understand , however thinking about the other reason for this comment , should not be wrong too !

check this ----http://indiansforguns.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=8910 ---

thats why i say ... listen , think and then speak ... !

Look whose talking

So, after your lecture above, a fallout to a comment you made without looking or thinking yourself, I take it YOU were at the crime scene and hence are competent to wish a death penalty on a cop, for doing his duty?

There is a difference between freedom of speech and moronic drivel. All freedoms come with responsibility. If you cannot exercise the latter, do not attempt the former.
