Welcome to IFG,
Congratulations for getting license for revolver, please feel free to post and ask questions. I am sure you would like this site. If it is all right to ask, would you be able to describe your experience, formalities and time it took to get the firearm license in Noida.

Re: Hello Everyone
Thanks for your warm welcome.
Actually I got the license in my hometown ( Kaithal in Haryana), My current job is in Noida. Really didn't have to do anything. My father knew local MLA and we got our license via that route. I just signed some papers, thats it.
Now I am thinking of purchasing gun from Ambarnath factory. I have gotten a delivery date from factory. But I am not clear about the whole process there. From what information I was able to gather, I will need another license to bring this gun from Ambarnath to Haryana. And I am not totally clear about how I will get this license and how much time it will take. Can some knowledgeable person help me in this matter.

Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.
