Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.

eljefe, what about an ifg meet down under?
you must try shotguns.
As moa says, rifle shooting is a science but clay shooting is an art.
You want more gun control? Use both hands!

If you are consistent then its Art otherwise Science..at some point as da Chief nagarifle pointed out Science is art ...this is the mantra which a top notch scientist I knew had it written on his board..

Woo - nice write up and images
Vikram, gentlemen - my mistake; missed this post - for something like over four years?! Lovely!
Looks like great fun was had (sorry, had to put it like that - climate change UK, what)!
The only mystery still in my mind -
where IS 'da big chief' nagarifle in the pictures?

See IFG'ians, now we can have no arguments at all - 007 has agreed that this post is officially approved.
For Your Eyes Only! Now the Naga has to come forth!
Sorry mate, just kidding
AgentDoubleS - I must be getting old - but I simply couldn't resist it, so tempting, especially on two wheels!
I'd be honoured to do some serious riding with you, no matter the condition of my poor old saddle-topper.
