Manish,

You will come across lot of guns from that vintage becuase getting one across was lot easier in those days. Not to say that these guns were much better built than those of today. have fun...

Grouping in first pic is shot by me at 10mtrs sitting position

The second is by my six year old son. Also in sitting position. I helped him by holding the gun a bit.

Now I know why she is such a favourite....what accuracy......incredible....

i would suggest you strip it and let all the parts dry thoroughly. that, would involve a spring compressor to be safe, and time on your hands. there should be a stripdown guide for dianas on the net.

As an example of overcoming adversity, Karoly Takacs has few peers. He was part of Hungary’s world champion pistol-shooting team in 1938, when an army grenade exploded, crippling his right hand. Ten years later, having taught himself to shoot with his left, he won two gold medals in the rapid-fire class.

Thats a lot of money to pay for a 50 year old air rifle. Depends on what condition it is in.
