Maintenance of IOF .32 Rev

Manual given by IOF doesn't give much info about cleaning and oiling. Can anybody here explain the detailed procedure
of cleaning & oiling of an IOF .32 revolver. Which organic solvent is useful to remove lead & carbon particles accumulated in the barrel
and the other parts like rotor, ejector etc. ? Is Brass brush more useful than the fiber brush to clean the barrel?

Gun accessory.com hasn't mentioned anything other than the manual which is provided with revolver. I am interested to know
more about barrel cleaning and overall maintenance.

Kindly search 'Cleaning revolvers Smith & wesson' on youtube.com you will get couple of video's that will answer ur questions...

As for solvent, use 'WD-40', for cleaning only - for lubrication, use any machine oil with low viscocity. For lubrication, my dealer has suggested to use scooter 2-T oil and i am happy with it.

I reserve my comments on brass brush issue. I hope someone will answer to that. Even i want to know. I think it is best avoided.
