Asif bhai, some (most/all) of these guys are "ULTA GHADA" (Ghadha even), no matter how much we try to educate them, they prefer to be ignorant. When people call me Bambi Killer, I tell them that they can say that only if they're vegetarian, and even then, only because they're jealous, because they don't have what it takes to be a hunter/conservationist, neither in mind nor spirit.

BTW, I'm sure you've heard this INDIAN definition of vegetarian, they say a Vegetarian = Bad Hunter !!!

I was an NCC air force wing cadet and practised firing
and Skid shooting with a 7.62 , 303 and double barrel
rifles. Won a silver medal in Skid Shooting.

I knew many cadets and shooters who also used to enjoy
shooting hence used to indulge in shooting Giant
squirrels and peacocks. It was painful to see this.
Shooting Authentic animal species for fun and Hobby. I
am sure this act would lead the species to extinction.
Also The current situation on Tigers arose because of
Ruthless killings carried earlier.

My only intention here is to prevent people from doing
this dasturdly act.

Your second mail shows just how ignorant and stupid your stand is. There is skeet shooting, not "skid" and that is done with shotguns, not double barreled rifles. Stop trying to bullshit me with your so called experience. I own guns and shoot and hunt and I do it in a country that has vastly more game due to conservation and to the preservation of land from collecting fees from hunters than anything else.

As far as tigers are concerned, it is a lie that they were decimated by hunters. The fact is that India's forest cover was reduced from more than 37% at Independence to less than 3% now. With their habitat destroyed there was no way tigers could live in vastly reduced areas. If you choose to parrot this nonsense about their numbers having been decimated by hunters then you are either ignorant or a liar like those who in the Indian government's Ministry of Forests cooked this nonsense up in order to hide their own inefficiency in failing to protect India's forests after independence.

There is no way you could debate anything. One needs facts to debate with, not lies and bullshit. If you cannot get properly informed about a subject, try not to be an idiot. It is clear that you do not wish to post this on a public forum because you most certainly are convinced about your own stupidity and fear being exposed.

I shall continue to post any further correspondence from this moron as I am sure that I have not seen the last of him. And, yes since he seems to have got this information from here, I dare him to step in and discuss the subject in public.

I`m still trying to wrap my head around the concept of `skid` shooting....and wondering if the guy used a .303 rifle for it !

Your Mail on page 1 trigerred quite a humour and none of you spared the poor anti - hunt soul with verbal accusations..

Had a reaaalll good laugh ... Earlier would have empathized with the dude who raised the subject until a freind patiently in all these months explained that shooters not only are ethical but the best conservationist as well , and undertake shooting only if the species are in abundance and calls for protection of crops / human etc .. Perhaps , explanation to your not - so - enterprising freind might help ... it did to me, might do good to him as well ..
