sat sri akal,
R- dhillon saab Modern do have ejectors and how can gunsmith modify it into Extractors( i, mean when opened gun will throw out spent shells). My father's Lanber Single barrel (spanish) full choked gun have powerfull extractor that throws shell far away .
I have seen a shotgun in chandigarh it was british make SXS 12 bore with assisted opening system , I liked this feature very much If mr.gora khurmi wants to do some real modification , he should go for assisted opening system and extractors.
regards,

Extractors are when you Extract or remove the Shells manually from the breech.
Ejectors, Eject or throw the shells automatically from the breech when opened.

Dear gorakhurmi,
Very pleased to know that you understand English and a responsible person and thanks for the photograph. The gun looks neat though I would love to know how it shoots and how it feels to shoot with one hand. If you could pattern test it for us and post the results with pics, that will be really great. Should I be visiting that part of the world, which I hope to one day, I would definitely like to give you a shout.Have fun.
Best-
Vikram

Re: Is modifying a gun legal?
whats it with the fashion of barrel and butt shortening in Punjab?
type patake 12 boran de on you tube and see the many home made videos featuring similar guns just like the song they play to.
some of the barrels are ridiculously short.
its not sauve, sophisticated or cool. it doesnt add any functionality to the gun. and no it doesnt make it look pretty. it makes the gun ugly.
it not only destroys the looks and performance, it shows how little a person appreciates guns.
if you think this is 'cool', i have another suggestion for u:

enjoy!

Re: Is modifying a gun legal?
so dear shooter
answer of ur first question
u r from london
is hunting allowed there?
Because it is nonlegal in our country
for us guns are only for self defense.but some people use it for the reason u give above patake 12 boran de on occasions
Punjab is a peaceful state and guys are using it for patake 12 boran de.
12 bore gun prices start from 250 $ ,big guns are not easy to carry.
hand guns prices start from 1600 $.so this is the reason of fashion of barrel and butt shortening in Punjab
answer of ur comment
no shooting ranges are there
only one shooting range at 130 miles away & no civilian like me is allowed there.
when we are not using it for that purpose for which it is made of like hunting & shooting,
then why to add any functionality to the gun when u are not using previous one.
and i feel it is cool because it is first of it kind

Re: Is modifying a gun legal?
hi khurmi....
could you please post pics of the gun with the barrel measured while showing the hockey butt.
the rest please dont take personally:
although there is a trend in india for having guns like these (as they sell the most in numbers) it is because most of these guns are bought by people who have no knowledge of firearms. looks aside i think these kin of guns serve no practical purpose ..... not even for self defense .... i think in a situation where your life is threatened you would rather have a controllable gun rather than a gun which looks good(to some people) or is unique but is highly uncontrollable and serves no practical purpose. i personally wouldnt want to be caught dead carrying a gun like that.

Re: Is modifying a gun legal?
Hello visho ji
going to post picture in morning for ur satisfaction with butt
for self defense i feel more comfortable with it
it is more handy it can be in action in car
practically i have checked it. the range and grouping is good than pfizer 22''
and i am having the basic butt with me when ever i like i can fix it.
i and goldy member here we both go to kheth .
we shoot 18 rounds on a wall from 40meter,50meter,and hollow point from 70 meter
with both rifles the striking was to good we have description of each shoot
if u say i can post that also for u and next time we will take owr camera with us to catch every shoot
there are lots of roamers about 12 gauge barell cutting related.
chock barell is good but most of the guns have one barell chock
if it is not be so effective in big number of cartridges like 6 8 then what i use only 1number.
according to me practical bring better conclusion then theoretical
i am 6futt 1 inches my weight is 121 kg it is fully controllable in my hands
is this enough rest for next time ha ha ha
stay in touch i like u

but somebody will explain me what is "pfizer 22" ?gorakhurmi wrote: practically i have checked it. the range and grouping is good than pfizer 22''
You have a hockey stick version rifle too ? Also please let us know "Description of each shoot"gorakhurmi wrote: we shoot 18 rounds on a wall from 40meter,50meter,and hollow point from 70 meter

If you are confident you can use it properly in life threatening conditions and that too with accuracy, I have nothing to say as the choices are yours , but Most people in India are not lucky enough to have a physical structure like you and neither they will prefer to rely their valuable life on shooting a hockey stick butt on one hand in a life threatening condition , At least not in my case and I will always prefer to use them in a conventional manner and without any barrel modification.gorakhurmi wrote:according to me practical bring better conclusion then theoretical
