Re: IOF .32 revolver
Hi.. Point blank,
I just called to SAK, Kanpur and asked if they, in fact, show on the Revolver and on the Bill/Invoice thay
give on the sael of .32 Mark-III. A lady was on the line and said that she doesn't all these technical
details, but confirmed that suppy only .32 Mark-III model only. She also indicated that there no much of
a difference between Mark-II and Mark-III. I asked to connect me with the higher auhtority person to get
more clarification in this regard, But, she said to call after some time for this.
Will come back later dear.
Thanks a lot for the information.

The only visible difference between the Mk II & Mk III appears to be the longer foresight and its base.

Anand.
Thanks for an indication which, may be, useful for all concerned to differentiate between Mark-II and Mark-III, indian made. Now to my point. S.A.F. Kanpur, as i talked to so many people over phone to that Factory regarding
Mark-III to show on the Revolver.
Very clerly, They only (S.A.F.) only say over phone that the supply .32 Revolver Mark-III, But, in fact, It's un-belivable, The Factory at Ambernath clarly say that they supply Mark-II, and which they show on Revolver and
the Bill/Invoice it'self. Also FGK, Kanpur also show as Mark-III on the Revolver and Bill/Inovice. But, to my
experience, the S.A.F. doesn't show Mark-III any where!!!! and still, even today, over phone thay claim that they
sell Mark-III!!!!!!..This is something you cannot get convenienced.
Suggest, those who wish to have .32 Revolver Mark-III, duly engraved on the weapon, must stop purchasing from
S.A.F. and approch either F.G.K. or M.P.F. If i am not wrong.
ALthough, i have written a letter to G.M. SAF, Kanpur, in detail, asking for facts.
Regards,
