something is going wrong somewhere...
the theme is right but the contents are going haywire... chalk out 2-3 different contents/materials and then make a rough video probably on Adobe Permier ... compare all of them and then when you are done with finalising get it done on FCP or Premier Pro ...

if you need anything latest and sophisticated, let me know...
will do whatever i can...

first of all its a great idea but i think it will be better if we upload the videos directly to youtube later u can save those videos from youtube and edit it for uploading videos to youtube gmail id is required its free and a site like save video download.com will do the work for you to save videos from youtube if we send the videos to your mail then it allows only 20 mb maximum upload but in youtube the size is upto 2 gb per video so the quality will be really nice and you can save them in mp4 format 720 p high quality for editing

I don't buy that!!!!! I want you to deliver the opening speech..... Zake, if lionheart is not in the video, count me out as well , i will also help you in editing. Just send me the book, from where i can learn to start editing .....

Winnie, You are one of the knowledgeable (GUNS) persons on this forum, you need not say the satisfaction the guns provide you, instead how they can help you in dire situation, how you have enjoyed shooting sport every weekend and other benefits of the guns, the idea of the video is to promote guns for RKBA, shooting sport and the most important GUN SAFETY.

People like you, HVJ1, Vikram, Abhijeet and many more can spread knowledge on GUN Safety and its proper use than many of us here. You can make the difference, So please Help.

Kind of ! My friend if you do not wish to be involved by all means don't. I believe my request was to think about it. I hope I didn't offend anyone here by picking up this project. Being a non-gun owner it's hard for me to comprehend the emotions involving guns and their owner. If I over stepped my line in anyway please do inform me. I will back out immediately.

@airgunsniper : I am aware of the youtube website my friend. My plan was to upload the complete video in youtube channel page made for IFG once it's complete. And your idea about downloading your and others videos from youtube is completely fair. But see the thing is. After downloading from youtube (which is not permitted by youtube in normal cases) the size of the video is limited and editing it to fit with other videos is some what difficult than editing a raw video. That was the reason behind my request to you guys for mailing the videos to me. My apologies for the misunderstanding.

@ Zake et al, Please don't be offended with Winnie's observation.He is not criticising the effort but pointing about the direction.If he were not concerned,he would have skipped it altogether.We all are happy and proud of the efforts you guys are putting in.

I actually agree with what he is saying. Right now the enlisting process is going on.Apart from that we need to concentrate on the precise nature of the contents too.

These are my ideas:

We need to be clear about what exactly we are trying to convey.Are we trying to tell people that owning a gun or wanting to own a gun is not an automatic indication of a predisposition to violence or criminal bent of mind? If yes this is what I suggest (largely taken from the words of you guys)

Each person says a few words about his profession and then why s/he keeps a gun.

EX:Hi I am XXXX. I am a medical doctor. I love my profession as I always dreamed of saving lives and worked hard to become one.I work 16 hours a day,6 days a week treating my patients. It gives me tremendous satisfaction when I help reduce human suffering.

I also keep a gun.Because, criminals and murderers also share this world with us. I like to protect mine and my family's lives from criminals.I want to be able to protect them until the police comes. Does it make me a criminal? Does it make me violent? Then, why does the government makes it so difficult for me to own a gun.

Software guys,civil servants,doctors,engineers,teachers,businessmen,soldiers etc, anyone everyone-please tell them how hard you worked to build your career and your life and why you would like to own a gun.Could be for protection,could be for sport or both.Ans ask the question if you are a criminal? Then why are you hindered so much by the government.

As I said, just an idea of mine.You can leave it if you like.

P.S. Exactly what we wanted to implement Vikram ! That everyone can own a gun. They are not evil. We need to make gun ownership open for discussion in households. Only then can we get the necessary backing from the common people on RKBA
