Re: Raise your voice for RKBA: Tell the government online
to whom so ever it may concern
1st- there is a lot of difference in criticizing and sarcasm.
2nd- the above guy HVJ1 cannot be a racist if you know who he is (ref forum air-gun)
yes we are criticizing the govt !!!but is it not a fundamental right?and what is that the the opposition leaders do in LA or parliment?
what wrong are we doing by supporting RKBA? is it not gonna help people protect themselves? Have you thought or tried to research why US has terrorist attacks which can be counted on fingertips? and whereas in india , you cannot even imagine the figure.
Have you ever tried to know about the corruption that is involved in acquiring a arms license? Have you tried to imagine what would a female call center employee must have felt when she was gang raped (all incidences in metro and cosmo cities though)? do you know that people in naxal areas have to keep desi arms to protect their families? when all these things happen how do you protect yourself? with bare hands or with lathi's? and what do you think , people with licensed arms go shooting innocents? what harm will it make if you have a gun under your pillow while sleepin? atleast you konw that you can defend yourself , which will help ypu sleep tight.
there are are many questions one has to ask him/her self before tryin to comment anything ...even i have dont the same thing. If not , i wouldn't have been in a position to type all these words.
and please let me know why should I or any other member supporting the RKBA , NOT criticize the govt?
If you have a single reason worth being convinced, please let US know?
you have NO LIMITATION with the typing space !!!
ALL THE BEST
nobody misunderstand please

Re: Raise your voice for RKBA: Tell the government online
Hi Guys, lets give each other a break, we all agree that RKBA needs to be intiated in India and support the cause, the only thing is the way we express ourselves is different.
Dhobhal: I dont think by any means, HVJ was targetting at you, (he may clarify it much better way). Criticizing the government about RKBA is no wrong because these guys are not wanting to take any effort in accepting change for betterment. I love the part in Vikram's "Right to Protect Yourself" essay that, even if police wants to protect the citizen, they are logistically not in a position to do so. Hence the better way is to ARM the Law Abiding Citizens to protect themselves and their loved ones.
Lionheart: Dhobhal is in the same ship as you and me and every other IFGIAN supporting RKBA, the only thing is expressing your self is in a different way, which is a normal human tendency, i and you can't express ourselves in the same way, so instead of pointing fingers at each other, lets concentrate on the main motive of supporting RKBA.
Both of you have come as an asset, to support the initiative, lets not go cracking each other.
Ravi

i agree ravi
and there was nothing pesonal in it...but you there is somehow no use in just talking history and askin questions that make no sense.
we are here for the same cause to support RKBA and we should focus on that rather than gettin diverted from the topic.
both we cannot sail in 2 different ships that what i mean to say

Re: Raise your voice for RKBA: Tell the government online
Oops ,
LionHearGuru that was good , maybe Dohal is carried away by the sentiments when he writes, or probably being 22 some testosterone are pushing hard or brain cell, Dohal find a girl friend fast that will cool you down for sometime .
Once again guys lets keep this thread for the original purpose so that new people landing here get the relevant information what this thread is supposed to do and that is post your grievance against the present arms act.
Seems no new people are are willing to post , so it turns out that only 19-20 people are interested in RKBA, rest are mostly air gun enthusiast and probably people who are just keen on the guns.
Never loose heart though, one day this scenario will change.
Regards

well said eternalme
however "Never loose heart though, one day this scenario will change." didnt digest much.
we are young and enthusiastic people with a goal to achieve in here. we cannot wait till our next generation growws old.
we need to gather lots and lots and lots of like minded people , young or old male or female , doesnt matter but like mindedness is must.

Re: Raise your voice for RKBA: Tell the government online
guys
what are girls doin inn here?
we are not james bond , that we'll have girls with guns!!
now get growin-up , ok?
@dobhal87... nothing to misunderstand you bro, but something i would like to tell is that when a group is involved and is focusing on something , and 1 of them diverts the topic , the rest of the group follows. You have a good sense of humour , no dbout, but keep it to make the group laugh and not divert them. thats what i actually mean to say.
and yes Testosterone decreases with age !!! so better you get into ACTION as soon as possible !!!
huu i think i am done with my action sequels so ... lets focus on our topic RKBA , nothing else...

Dear Dhobal,
Err, I think I have been misunderstood. The sarcasm' line is NOT meant for you. Deeply regret it if you have taken it personally. Been away for couple of days otherwise, I could have cleared the air much earlier. Thanks Ravi, Lionheartguru and eternalme for holding up the fort!

Re: Raise your voice for RKBA: Tell the government online
Hi friends THE ARMS ACT WHICH OUR GOVT FOLLOWS WAS INTRODUCED BY THE GORAs WHO WERE RULING OUR COUNTRY .THE DMs WERE GORAs WHO HAD THE POWER TO ISSUE A LICENSE COULD DO SO WITH OR WITHOUT VERIFICATIONS { without verfications to there loyal chamchas}.THE IDEA OF WRITING TO THE HOME MINISTRY IS GOOD BUT WILL IT HELP I THINK LETS ALL TH MEMBERS OF IFG GET TOGETHER,COLLECT SOME MONEY AND FILE A PIL IN THE SUPREME COURT ABOUT THIS.MPs CAN PICK UP STATE OF ART WEAPONS FROM EITHER THE CUSTOM WAREHOUSE OR IMPORT THEM {they have guys with AKs with them} a common citizen has to look for sifarish and then after a lot of CHAI PANI around he finally manges to get an ARMS LICENSE.Then he is left with the alternative of either buying an IOF weapon {which just mite blow up in his face or misfire when he needs it the most} or pay through his nose for a pre 1985 grade imported weapon.ORDI charges the equilent of USD 1600 for a piece of Junk,in Canada or US u can get an excellent REV/PISTOL for USD 750.Then the restriction on Ammo, this is the best, 25 CTGS in a Year that about 2 a month,so you cant practice and if you get in trouble????????????????,GOD help you.The last thing is the jurisdiction of the Arms Licence, why is a licence valid for a State or a U.T,what happens if a person has to cross over to a diffrent state, does his life hold no meaning in another state, when a so called VVIP has to cross, Roads will be sealed ,sharpshooter at all the points etc, etc, etc.Something with a collective effort has to done.So lets get together and go to the Supreme Court.Or as it was said on the 26/11memorial IN INDIA LIFE IS THE CHEAPEST.Have a cpl of more ideas for a PIL so lets get our act together

and thats the reason that we all are here ... in RKBA forum !!!
your suggestion is surely worth considering ...however we need time and lots of support to do that... money is no constrain but people are...
try to spread this message across to as many people as possible ... by ethical means...get them inn and then when are at least 2% (ref above posts) we can make a move ...
