A new comer

Post by pksnathan » Thu Nov 26, 2009 12:38 pm

Dear friends,
I am a new comer to this forum and this is my first post.I am a farmer by profession and I am proud to say so,I was earlier running a small scale industrial unit.Talking of guns I am reminded of my younger days(40 years back!) when my father bought a BSA air rifle ,177 caliber I think if my memory is correct. It has been many years since I touched that gun. I reside in Chennai and I divide my time between Chennai and my native place where my farm is situated.
Sincerely,
pksnathan

Welcome sir, to the forum. I hope you find time to clean up the BSA and start plinking again.

Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.
