Diana's future plans.....

Post by fantumfan2003 » Sat Nov 21, 2009 11:15 am

As an example of overcoming adversity, Karoly Takacs has few peers. He was part of Hungary’s world champion pistol-shooting team in 1938, when an army grenade exploded, crippling his right hand. Ten years later, having taught himself to shoot with his left, he won two gold medals in the rapid-fire class.

Thanks for sharing ff2k3. I wish someone would do the same here with IHP and give them pointers on what they are doing right and what they are doing wrong, and IHP listens to them and comes out with better products.

I know what I am wishing is called daydreaming :) .

Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.

I personally feel that the quality of diana air rifles has gone down. One can make out the difference by firing the older and the new dianas.

I have heard that BSA are the delicate kind rifles...which ones are the good kind.....also BSA being English will have its power reduced because of UK's laws, so i dont know how they would compare in terms of power.

A lot of the new BSA models are just rebadged Gamos made in Spain and not in UK. The Spanish made ones are no where close to the British ones in terms of build quality... good enough value for money though.
