Hi,

If you have read the post so far and haven't actually taken time off to register your bid against current Arms act/law at the government grievance redress system then please start counting yourself among Antis ,for , a pro gun guy would definitely take few minutes to file a grievance against the present arms act/law specially when its so simple as visiting a site and some click of the mouse.

Cheers Guys for your efforts.

Regards

this is a good idea. we should also look at the finance ministry as well since they have banned imports and the nation is losing vast amounts of income via duty. thsu making our nation a poor via millions of crows :D

You are welcome but you do not have to thank me or anyone else. It's in their own interest to do the needful.
Thanks for posting the link.

I agree but yet my sincere thank go to anyone who took time to fill the grievance / suggestion as this is possibly strengthening our case and probably giving government a perspective into what is another opinion. Moreover this would eventually benefit people like me who love guns but the system has made it almost impossible to cater to the hobby.
Mostly people stay off from guns as firstly there is not a easy way to procure one and secondly all the sinister attributes alloted to them. The policy makers themselves being among the gun fearing crowd as they are mostly 9-5 guys, never having time for any hobby or sports, and everything which doesn't concern them personally gets treated in blind following blind manner.
So generally the law tends to incline towards the antis who sound more compelling and peace loving (who doesn't like peace anyway)....

I have submitted my suggestions at the grievance cell of the Min of Home Affairs. Let me see what response comes. Meanwhile, members who are known to MPs may also take up the issue through them.

IndiaOne,

People are not wiling to actually file online grievance let alone raising it with the MPs and MPs are not listening to anyone, politics has become money and power business, we also accept it, then its a tricky issue no MP is going to touch it who wants to be called pro gun guy ?

After rigrous efforts, i was at last able to post my grievance on the site. In fact, i have developed a biggest Grievance  against the site it self, you cant give any characters, how the Hell shall i differentiate between paras and link them later.

Anyways this is what i have posted for ARMS Liecence, need to file another grievance against BAN of IMPORT, shall be able to do it by Sunday. Guys, if possible please do post your grievance's as well on this thread, the IDEA is to motivate other members, who might want to post but wont do, due to busy schedule or the idea where to start it from. By posting your grievance, people can extract important points and easily make their own essay to post it on the Website. (I hope, i am not sounding stupid), even if i, wont mind it, atleast somewhere we will beign something.
As the ARMS ACT is under review for amendment I have to mention that the present ARMS ACT though very clear and transparent is not been implemented at the state levels as described. After the Fateful day of 26/11 when terror was unleashed on MUMBAI by AK-47 wielding terrorist the Mumbai police has rejected 156 applications of Fire arms for self defence the article was reported by TIMES of INDIA. the grievance is, if the ARMS ACT clearly mentions that the FIRE ARM can be provided for Self Defence then why the same is not done. There is not even any justification for rejection for months together. As a citizen of India, my life is as important to me, my dependants as the life of Politicians, maximum of whom are Liecence Holders and bear Fire Arms for Self Defence and above all are provided with ARMED SECURITIES and on the other hand, people like us, who have clean track records but are in no way linked to higher authorities are been made to go around the bush and never given an opportunity to protect Myself, my loved ones. The only thing we are left with is to wait for a fateful day like 26/11 or be a victim of Violence to end my dear life, which Licensing authority didnt consider to be of importance to anyone. Whenever a application is provided for ARMS for Self Defence, the licensing authorities demand for proof of threat to your life. Did the people killed on 26/11 knew this is their last day. My humble request shall be to amend and most importantly IMPLEMENT the ARMS ACT for the law abiding citizens & sports enthusiast in more convenient manner and kindly provide the LAW ABIDING CITIZENS right to protect themselves and their loved ones.
Please make the maximum use of this link, all you have to do is post, practically no commercial cost involved, would not take more then half hour (considering the minor complications on the site).

Ravi.
