Re: Concealed Carry Draw & Fire Drills
1. You're carrying a pistol or revolver concealed? Keep it hidden from your target as you draw it.
2. At least two of these videos are to show how to safely draw while firing on a range. That's all well and good for range work, but in real life the first time the bad guy should see the weapon is when it's actually aimed at him and the hammer is falling.
3. Concealing a handgun under a suit or under a T-shirt are all well and good, but both are not natural acts when confronted by a bad guy. Better a rear pocket carry - say strong hand side - so that when you reach for it it's a similar act to reaching for your wallet.
4. As we speak there is a walther ppk sized FEG in 9x18 in my right rear pant's pocket.

Re: Concealed Carry Draw & Fire Drills
To each his own but I would much rather carry in a holster (IWB/OWB) than fish around in my pocket for a gun. A properly designed holster will present the gun in a proper position for a draw. Some people have no choice but to wear a suit or a coat of some sort. Reaching in the back pocket for a wallet may seem natural but it is a learned behavior. Sweeping the coat or t-shirt aside before drawing can become second nature if you do it enough, just like reaching for the wallet in the back pocket.3. One disadvantage of the back pocket carry is that you can't get to it quickly if you're sitting down or driving. If pocket carry works for you, great! However, I sincerely hope that if you ever pocket carry that you use a pocket holster. If anything can get at the trigger of the gun, it will (change, your pocket knife, your finger; when fishing it out, the corner of the shelf at the grocery store). A pocket holster that covers the trigger guard will help prevent that and should be a must.

Re: Concealed Carry Draw & Fire Drills
Hello,
I would like to draw your attention towards Drill No. 1 in tha above mentioned Video's...
Is it safe to fire a REVOLVER from so close to body taking into consideration that their may be some gun powder/gas ejection from barrel to cylinder gap that may come upon the shooters face? The ammunition in question is 'imported .32 S&W Long' fired from .32 Smith & Wesson model 31-1 with 3" barrel.
Thanks & regards
