Sheep or Goat, the skull of one or even a stuffed whole would not elicit any positve comments here.
"Oye Inder,eh bhedu di khopdi kyon tangi hoi ay.Koi tantric wantric ne tanu eh karan nu keha see."
(freely translated:Inder why have you hung the skull of a Ram.Have you been told by a medicant to do so)
A stuffed Lion would be another matter altogether. His great-grand children would be telling stories of how their Great- grandfather killed the Lion from a kilometer away and that it was the biggest ,baddest lion in the whole of Africa.

I hope that you are prepared for this great honour
Better take counselling so that you would be able to handle the new status.

If you are going to spend good money on a stuffed deer,it would make no sense to spoil it by shooting at it

At the expense of sounding pedantic... a Ram is a male sheep... A male goat would be a billy goat...
BTW, how expensive are these sheep hunts? I hear New Zealand is quite the place...
Cheers!

There's one that got auctioned for a quarter of a million Dollars some years back. The hunter did not get his sheep but he still had to pay.

When I saw Inder holding the Ram skull mount, I thought it was interesting
to say the least. The guy at the farm gave me a set of perfectly formed deer antlers, 10 pointer, huge. I figure they are "dropped" antlers by how the bases are rounded. He has so many mounts and antlers gathering dust in the barn, more than I'd probably get in my lifetime (maybe not) but it was really sad.

I'd say the "Phoru", "Phenku", "Pakau", "Bandalbaaz" or other similar titles should be ones that can be given to anyone, regardless the number of posts.
Maybe a little out of topic here but I think, the Title assignment should not be based on the number of the Posts, but on the "quality" or rating of the posts given by moderators. It shouldn't just be numbers, it should be "weighted" numbers.

By any chance were they wearing a starched white khadi kurta with a matching white "topi"?

Abhijeet,
The white kurts/dhoti types actually go hee, haw!
Speaking of sheep hunts, the WWF organises them in Itan, Pakistan and Nepal for $ 40,000 apiece. As far as New Zealand is concerned, they actually cull both chamois and tahr there because they have too many of them. The $ 250,000 figure sounds like it might have been in Alaska or somewhere else, definitely not New Zealand. Non native species in New Zealand are considered vermin and can be hunted anywhere and at any time of the year without any restrictions. Surely not the stuff of $ 250,000 trophy fees.
Cheers!

If so, I best start buttering him up.
