Hi all,
i am a new member to this site.
i have only recently (last week) bought a rifle from a company called "SDB" mod 27 and would like to know if any of you guys have used this particular model or rifles from this particular company.
im only a beginner in rifle shooting and was hoping that you could give me some advice as i do not have much experience in cleaning or lubing the rifle as well as changing stock parts for better ones.
Also if possible could you tell me where i can find good quality pellets near thane or mumbai.
Thanks in advance,
Bakhtyar

Welcome to IFG.
What caliber is your air rifle ? Why do you want to change parts ? Is anything wrong with the air rifle ?
I can help you with the clean and lube. I am in Mumbai.

As an example of overcoming adversity, Karoly Takacs has few peers. He was part of Hungary’s world champion pistol-shooting team in 1938, when an army grenade exploded, crippling his right hand. Ten years later, having taught himself to shoot with his left, he won two gold medals in the rapid-fire class.

Re: Advice on changing parts of mod 27 rifle
its a .22 cal rifle
i use captain shot pellets(pointed) as they were the only ones available when i bought it.
nothing wrong with the gun as such other than a hard trigger which i suppose will smooth out after its broken in.
but i was hoping to increase the rifles performance with some better parts as the rifle itself is not all that great with stock parts.
after all it is a rs.2000 rifle so i guess the performance will have scope for improvement
