Hi abhijeet,

I called both M/s Crafts And garg armory. The lady at M/s Crafts said that IHP 35 would cost me around 3700 but i should call next week as they dont have stock. I spoke with one very pleasant gentelman by the name Mr Anand at Garg Armory and he quoted me 4200 for the 35 . Also called up one gun dealer by the name sharda gun house in raja garden who quoted 4000. I think i might purchase it from him as till now he is the cheapest of all and the closest too.(dont mind paying 200 rupees extra)
Aimco is giveing it to me for 3800 +Rs650to 950 for transportaion using Gati . So that is scrapped off.

I think my best bet is to stick with Sharda gun house.
What say??

A. Dogra

Take some time and introduce yourself in the appropriate thread .

Also, shooting at any animal or birds is prohibited also its inhumane practice with an airgun. So be careful in future making such posts. In case you are serious then you should contact Punjab rifle association for more information and some other members can also guide you.

best

Fair or not it is illegal... the only animals you may legally shoot without prior permission are those listed out in Schedule 5 of the Wildlife Protection Act i.e. crows & rats - nothing else! Please refrain from making such posts in future, they are not appreciated here.

As to the monkeys, I'd suggest you carry a stick to dissuade them...

Cheers!

i never said that i shot any animal or bird did i i!!!??. i said that i took the gun to scare the monkeys and too it was an air pistol because monkeys in shimla jump on u somtimes and i any monkey jumps on u to take away ur camera or mobile wont you hit him back, just think about it. Moreover the pistol was not ata ll powerful. i got hit by it once when my brother was plinking targets in our backyard with it. so how is it inhumane to hit any monkey that jumps on u because u know the minkeys have big nails taht cause many diseases. if this is inhumane then anyone eating non-veg is also inhumane because one kills the animal in that? :? :?:

Dear Mr.Dogra,

Please pay heed to what has been said to you. Your debate about non-vegetarianism does nothing for this topic.

Hi Doc,

Reliable and easy to use are mac1airgun (the legendary Tim) though you will need to wait for week for a reply. But they accept credit cards unlike pyramid air who can't or won't use international credit cards. flying dragon (Mike Mellick) is great for the Chinese air rifles. Archer Airguns is great for parts and accessories but they can't ship airguns to India, they also accept international credit cards.

These are the guys that I have personally bought from, recently pyramid air again created a hassle while processing the order with my credit card and even Ollie's one. A relative had to bail us out in the end.

ok so i think i was not knowing that i could not shoot a monkey.ooops i could have been turned in for this. well enough of the criticism and anyone plz help me solve my problem.well i went for a round and found many air guns at local dealers in ludhiana and they looked to be quite good. i am now confused about the calibre. i want to do pest control. there are many rats in my store and many lizards in my house and sometimes i even shoot crows that are at a distance of 10m to 20metre. so which calibre should i buy. correct me if i am wrong .177 is more fast, pierces deeper and is more accurate? while .22 is not as fast and has huge energy and potential to kill big pests. so which calibre should i buy, plz help
Regards
Adway

oh btw my xisting air gun is a .22 gun of a company named poneer. it is 30yr old and of my late uncles. it has a crude aim very less accurate and loose stock.

SORRY BY MISTAKE I CREATED A NEW FORUM RELATED TO THIS TOPIC

hi am new to this community i thought if the seniors could help me out.
i wanted to buy an air pistol preferably i was thinking of Beretta 92Fs i saw that on pyramydair.com
if anybody could help me regarding this that can i get this from any dealer in Delhi or NCR or i have to import it only?
and as am a rookie as of now and dont have much knowledge if other members and seniors could help me in selecting the pistol too i ll be really thank full.

I have gone through the forums of importing an air gun into India and i got to know that the person(importer) have to be the member of NRA or DSRA i mean any state rifle association from which the person belongs as am not member of NRA either DSRA can you am i eligible to become one as my age is 18 years? i don't have any idea weather they consider age or not thats why am asking :D.

thanks in advance

Shooting monkeys never drives them away. Instead, try spraying with indelible ink from one of those pichkaris that are available at any top shop. Works like magic. They never come back.
