IFG Meet at Pune

Dear friends,
Though I am a recent member of the IFG, I am in the field of Shooting Sports since the last 16 years in various roles-National level, National Squad, Internationally qualified Shooting Coach etc. etc .I would love to connect with all IFG members in Maharashtra. Pune is centrally located and we could all meet up. May I have some feedback, so that we could make the get-to-gether exciting.

Count me in, we have had three such meets so far including one FT meet and all have been big successes. Trust me you will have a healthy participation from Mumbai and Pune as well. The Balewadi range would be a perfect place for the meet.

Dear hvj & all friends on IFG,

I have taken Permission to use balewadi shooting range from respective authorities today...

At present all top indian shooters are practicing here at chatrapati shivaji stadiam-balewadi ..

we are planning of a date of meet on 3rd Oct.09i.e on saturday..

2nd is national holiday (gandhi jayanti) n 4th is sunday..

The agenda,rules and regulations,charges if any, of the meet shall be declared very soon by HVJ1,which shall be binding on all participants..


we are also planning to organize a friendly shooting competition if possible...

Your active participation & suggestions are requested...

P.S. I am also arranging for anjali bhagwat-famous indian shooter,tejswini sawant-gold medel winner- commonwealth & navnath partade-jr. world champion to be present at that time if possible..

Guys! Guys! guys!,
NK007 has just shown what it takes to get things going, in shooting parlance, we say, let your gun do the talking (in a competition), NK007 has within a span of 2-3 days has already organized the meet. Now it will be upto us all to contribute in terms of ideas, subjects to be discussed and future plan of action. So lets follow the example set by NK007 and come up with suggestions and most of all.. your PARTICIPATION in the meet.

Dear all,

We have received around 14,15 responses yet..

Me & hvj are thinking of welcoming maximum upto 30 to 40 members for this meet.(shooting range can take upto 80 shooters at a time )

some of our friends are more comfortable on 2nd Oct rather than 3rd oct..

pl guide me to finalize the date so accordingly i will confirm with venue authorities..

you all can pm me or hvj here or can mail or chat on [email protected] with your contact nos/email ids for further update of meet..

all members interested in meet pl respond early, since lot of other arrangements needs to be done including lunch etc..


stay facility can be given to outstation members if required on chargeble basis.(advance intimation is required)
