Is this Sauer 202 a good buy

Post by Sakobav » Tue Sep 15, 2009 6:01 am

Folks

I am not looking to buy this gun but I was wondering if the members think this used Sauer 202 .375 HandH is a good buy.

Comments : This is a like-new Sauer 202 Supreme with the extended capacity magazine in the .375 H&H caliber. The rifle had been fired a mere 21 times before the owner offered it up to purchase a double rifle for Africa. Great wood and the high-polish bluing for which the upgraded Sauer rifles are renowned. Talley bases included.

Navi,

I am not an expert at all. While certainly more expensive than CZs,Remingtons,Winchesters etc, the price seems not to be too high. They in general have great reputation for accuracy and smoothness of operation. The model also offers the chance to buy spare barrels in different calibres. However, using .375 H&H regularly in USA look remote to me.Grizzly bear and Moose? Elk some time? A 30/06 will do all of this easily and cheaper to shoot. Our resident experts should have more to offer.
