If your gun has 70 mm chambers, you shouldnt have any issue....just go ahead and shoot...folks speculate about Shaktiman primers being corrosive, but I would leave it at that...I have fired them they looked ok to me....

Depends on what choke you have on the barrels.

Sanjay, Shaktiman cartridges are now available with imported non-corrosive primers.

A unfired 12 ga. 70mm cartridge will fit in a 65mm chamber

The Chamber length will be mentioned below the barrels.
70 mm or 65mm.
If you are unsure of the choke (will be mentioned below the barrels.)and still want to fire balls. then the safest way to check that is run the ball thru the barrel - usually the right one. running the ball - remove the ball from the cartridge and then roll it thru the barrel. If you are not aware of reloading the cartridge then do not try it.

sharma ,
12 bore barrel cylinder is 729 thousand i.e. 18.516mm and if there is any construction (I mean if bore from muzzel end nearly between 40 upto 90 mm is lesser in bore diameter than standard 729 thousand)means barrels are chocked .
for measuring chokes you need bore guage (I do have all measuring instruments in my tool room).
If barrels are chocked firing range is increased. My shoty o/u made to order by modern jammu, upper barrel 695 thou (full choked), lower barrel 715 thou (IM) . BB IOF shell in upper barrel is 100% effective upto 90 yards.
I have sold gun otherwise it was working very fine.

My father have 12 bore single barrel 32" (cylinder) AYA spain with same BB IOF shell is only effective upto 40-45 yards, but shaktiman slug works very fine in AYA cylinder barrel.
