Happy Independence Day

Post by Vikram » Sat Aug 15, 2009 5:13 am

Time to remember the history, sacrifices, values and lessons that our freedom represents.Time to salute those who fought and won it for us so that the generations to follow could be free.

Happy Independence Day, ladies and gentlemen.

Respectfully-
Vikram

May all enjoy a Joyous and Meaningful Independence Day! It is odd for me to wish all of you a happy 62nd Independence Day, since your nation is so ancient, but may all the deeds of your heros, teachers, and martyrs be remembered today.

happy independence day to all. When i was a kid i use to love hearing a song of a movie "shaheed". the lyrics are"Ae watan ae watan hamko teri kasam, teri raahon me jaa tak luta jayenge.Phool kya cheez hai, teri kadamo pe hum bhet apne saron ki chada jayenge". it was filmed on manoj kumar who was playing the role of shaheed bhagat singh. sometimes i really feel as we have national song, national anthem, national game etc.,why dont govt.declare bhagat singh as national hero.is it because he dont belongs to congress?
