HI Rottland
The C-96 also come in .45ACP and .32X25. I recentely saw a spanish copy of the C-96 in 7.63x25 but it also had brust mode included in it.

Hi Vineet,
That broomhandle is in beautiful condition.I am assuming that the .30 Bore Pistol of your brother is a P-08 Luger in .30 Luger(7.65mmPara) caliber. Could you tell me where he gets his ammunition from and if there is any available and the approximate price.

Thanks,
Anand

[quote="MoA"]Rottlord: The C-96 came in two varieties: 7.63x25 and 9 para. Given that this one is in India I guess its a 7.63x25.

Actually, three. The original 7.63x25, 9mm Parabellum during WWI with a large "9" carved into the grip for the German army, and last a powerful civilian 9x25 that really went nowhere. Chinese copies also came in .45 ACP.

Cheers.

Yes Precisely , Vineet, Why do you say that this is the best pistol in India? With all due respects to your emotional attachement to the gun, your claim is contestable.

"Why its the best pistol"

Because Amigo's of all the pistols ever made 'Broomhandle' is the 'grand daddy' 8) of them all, its power, looks and even good Ol Churchill carried one into Boer war. Its a rarity to see a well maintained piece..but again any gun pistol one owns is da bestest..no matter what make Cheers
