Its made by Lucio Loyola(Spain). The barrels were probably supplied by Aya as they have AYA markings. It was marketed by Eibars.

Herb: It has nice lines. This is the first time I am seeing 'SECURE' instead of the standard 'SAFE' for the safety catch.

Herb , it is a beauty .
Mack The Knife, 'SECURE' seems rather appropriate, doesn't it ?
cheers,

I believe the safety should say "Seguro" (Spanish for safe), we were out shooting last weekend and one of the guns was a Spanish make (Hamiclar's 20 ga SxS double) that had the same markings for safety....
Sweet gun Herb, how does she shoot?
Cheers!

Abhijeet is correct, the safety says "SEGURO" which in Spanish means Safe, Secure or Insurance.
I haven't shot her much in recent times but she shoots well, handles and points very nicely.

Thanks guys, glad you liked the gun.
The receiver is nickel plated, so I applied a little polish and took a few more photos.
A man has to do something when he has some free time and nothing like spending it in the company of an old gun.

Ah!! The old lady shines. Quite a treat for sore eyes. 80 years old and still kicking, that's some nice piece of work there.
Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.
