hey Tarzan

Please do not order the pistol now as I had a chat with the person who is incharge of 20th North and he mentioned that yet it is not done with the customs therefore Rifle and Pellet is a problem for the time being which they are working on.....But accessories is not a problem...

Cheers,

Chris

A healthy competition bodes well for all & sundry! Let's just hope 20north keeps on delivering. My experience with this site till date is as follows:

1. Ordered 2 items on 14.5.09. Got them on 1.6.09 - both products were air gun related (scope mount & rail)
2. Ordered 1 item on 20.5.09. Got it today morning - weaver mount
3. Have ordered a pistol case on 26.5.09. Hoping to get it by 10.6.09 (as mentioned by the site)

Efficient, adherence to TAT, cheaper than existing grey market, helpfull operators & a wide variety to choose from..that's my take on this site.

Cheers!

Guys I checked with the live support of 20 north....still waiting for legal clearance for air pistols DAMN :D

anyways could some co2 air pistol owner clarify the following: -

(a)does it have any recoil...a normal handgun has plenty. all people who have fired the military side arms will agree. not he glocks that much though ..so is it of any use as a training aid?

(b) if power drops with each shot , how do u 'zero' it?

(c) can u stop firing and use the pistol later or do you need to finish the cartridge in one go?

i am sorry if i sound ignorant....i came upon one of these many yrs ago and dismissed it as a toy.....but i am intrigued because they seem to be popular

cheers

Tarzanboy,

Don't let your ignorance bother you.

> (a)does it have any recoil...a normal handgun has plenty. all people who have fired the military side arms will agree. > not he glocks that much though ..so is it of any use as a training aid?

A CO2 version of a firearm model (eg. Model 92 made by Beretta is available in 9mm as well as on CO2) has negligible recoil. You can't use the CO2 version for training (why would you want to do that ?) as the loading etc. is quite different. e.g. in the Beretta 92 CO2 version you have a rotary mag like a firearm revolver.

> (b) if power drops with each shot , how do u 'zero' it?

First two or three shots from the CO2 version would typically be more powerful (approx 15% more fps). After that the point of impact does not change till CO2 pressure drops considerably.

> (c) can u stop firing and use the pistol later or do you need to finish the cartridge in one go?

Yes you can and must leave the CO2 cartridge in the gun but make sure safety is on and the magazine/clip is removed.

Hope that helps.

I ordered a 4 lb jar of Brewer's yeast + garlic for my dogs.It reached me in 11 days.Pretty good service and cost worked out OK too since if I had ordered it by EMS it would have cost as much just for shipping. Will be using their services again for sure.
Regards,
