Re: Suggestions on buying a bolt action .22lr....
Sir my experience may be very less as compared to other fellow members but please do give a look at this list in order of my preference(clip magzine type):
1 SAKO FINNFIRE .22 lr
2 Anchutz .22 lr
3 Marlin or a Marlin Glenfield
4 Remington bolt action(any model)
5 Winchester (any Model)
6 BSA .22lr
7 CZ or what we call BRNO .22 lr
Best is a Sako if anybody came across 1 dont leave it or don inform me.

Sorry forgot to mention a Ruger 77 with rotary magzine.
All these rifles prefably in bolt action and clip magzine type are better for Indian shooting conditions.
Sako is my personal favourite.
I own a Marlin Glenfield model 25(microgrooved).
Thanks,
Fowad
