Hi,

I was buying an arm directly from another arms licensee and didn't know what undertaking is required from the seller.

Made a sale affidavit from various inputs......posting it for the larger good. :D

(For the Sale of Arms/ Ammunition on stamp paper)

I, ……………….. S/o ……………. R/o ………………..do hereby solemnly affirm and declare as follows:

1. Following are the particulars of my Arms License: -

2. I have sold above mentioned Arms/ Ammunition in column 1 (D) to valid Arms Licensee, the particulars of which are as follows:

Therefore, I have no objection what so ever to the transfer of ownership of the above items to the purchaser. I further declare and confirm that the above mentioned Arms/ Ammunition is/are my personal property and not involved in any criminal or other case and there is no restriction on selling the same from any authority. I stand fully responsible for any happening or event with the weapon till today and indemnify the buyer against it till today, which is…………….

4. I have already submitted 45 days sale notice under Sec 5 (2) of Arms Act 1959 to the concerned authority for the sale of the above mentioned Arms and Ammunition, the period for which has since expired.

The stamp value is based on the transaction amount. I had used Rs. 20/- non-judicial stamp paper.
