I would like to send a warm greeting from myself to my brothers in arms of India.
It seems in ways we face many of the same restrictions and yet in reading what and how you of India go through to acquire what should be a native right, strengthens my resolve to continue the struggle to keep our right to own firearms. We in the United States will be facing many new battles with this new administration coming into power and I pray we will be granted the strength to follow through in keeping our right to own firearms.
In time I will do what I can to take and post pictures of the weapons I currently own, however at the time I do not have access to my digital camera because of a recent move and my camera equipment was packed away. I hope to have many interesting conversations in the near future and would like to thank you for allowing me access to this forum of what I have seen to be many very intelligent and understanding firearm owners.
Respectfully,
Tye G.

Hello and Howdy to all here
Sorry for posting my primary post in "General Ramblings" but with my political comments I felt it best they go there instead of here.
As shown the name is Tye! I have enjoyed the shooting sports since I was 6 years old when I got my first cartridge weapon, a Marlin Glenfield Model 25 in .22 rimfire. Prior to that I had some experience with a number of air guns being CO2 and pomp. I still have that rifle and doubt I will ever let it leave my possession. I have expanded my collection to include numerous other rifles, handguns and shotguns. At last count I have 34 handguns, 13 rifles, 2 shotguns and a Thompson Center Contender in 11 calibers. I have been reloading for the bulk of my center fire weapons for the better part of 35 years, when I found it far more cost effective to reload then to continue to purchase factory ammunition. There's a question I might broach at this time. It is possible/legal to reload ammunition for those caliber weapons you own in India?
I stumbled across this forum while searching for related forums that contained information about Llama Model IIIa .380 acp semi-automatic handguns. I own three of these fantastic little weapons and am in the process of a project where I am trying to convert one into a multi-platform (caliber) weapon. I am planing on the conversion of one to fire the .32 NAA ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.32_NAA ) round which is a necked down .380 to accept a .32 caliber projectile. With the Llama Model IIIa being representative of a standard 1911A1 weapon, the ability to accurize the Llama should be the same only in a smaller package. I am currently looking for a gunsmith/barrel maker who will be able to manufacture the barrel needed for the conversion. I have the complete spare slide and then will need the specialty of a gunsmith who has the knowledge and understanding to perform the accurizing of the weapon and finalize the fit and function of the converted upper to the frame. It sounds more complex then it actually should be.
This is getting far ahead of things for an initial introduction. So for now I would like to once again say how happy I am to have found this forum and hope to have many conversations with those here in the future.
Thanks for opening the door. Take care all and with all due respect,
Tye G.
