Availability of pellets, the imported ones, is surely a problem. Suggest you buy some (6-10 tins) of pellets and pack it in a suitcase other than the one with the rifle.europus2002 wrote:Hey Tenx...... thanks ... But do you know anyone in india who's got Condor ? And how's the availability of

Here is one tip.. you could easily dismantle the metal and wood part of the rifle, and fit it together in one suitcase - make sure the suitcase is hard-shell types with the Airport-lock. Declare this when you board (during boarding pass). Stay confident, and most probably, everything should be fine. Next, when you land in Mumbai (or wherever), the hassles created is more person-specific than airport-specific. So, no one can say this airport or that one is better. In case you would have to 'discuss' getting the rifle with the customs guys, you should have your club membership, and copies of your passport and membership to hand over to them. Sometimes, it will be a breeze, sometimes a lil of a hassle (chocolate-eyed), and sometimes, it will have to go back all the way to the cop brass to verify that the rifle is a .177 and is a permit-able air rifle.
If you dont have an Indian club membership.. then its a big risk that you are taking..
