help with IHP CO2 Air pistol

I just bought an IHP CO2 Airpistol, tried to refill my gun as per insrtuctions but the pistol does not fill up,i also tried dry firing it a couple of times while the pistol was still screwed to the cylinder but no sound .The kit came with a filled cylinder , adapter. screwdriver and L . I noticed a pin on the filling chamber barrel do i have to push it in for the gas to flow .

I havebeen using and repairing ihp co2 pistols
make sure of the following

1 is there gas in the cylinder yu just open the cylinder knob a bit and it will be evident

2 when yu fill the pistol it will heat up no heat no fill

after filling do yu hear any gas leaking from anywhere

do post a picture of this pin yu are talking about

are yu sure yu are cocking it all the way

Yes gas is in the cylinder when i open the knob i can hear the sound, but the pistol does not heat up,yes iam cockin it all the way. no gas leak as far as i know .how long should i refill the pistol ,i filled it for about 2 minutes as for the pin you can see in the middle of the filling chamber between the big round brass ring and the small white plastic.

Still this ;pin thing you are talking about baffles me so if you are up to it please do post a picture of your new pistol
