Yes they sound to be very easy to do, but no one in Mumbai has managed to perfect the parkerizing process.

CC gave a very detailed report about how to do it,if I am not mistaken.Or was it about bluing? In any case, there are people who do it for the gunshop owners and they do a pretty decent job.It is not rocket science.I have seen some very good parkerizing jobs done here and not just in Patiala.

I haven't come across a single handgun in Mumbai which has been re-parkerized. If you know of someone offering this service please let me know.

Nope, no one here can parkerize. At least no gunsmiths I have spoken to so far.

I think a phosphating process would be able to give it this greenish colour. I have tried it on a TT and it looked really good!

I have to disagree with AMK. I think its a nice gun and pleasant to shoot with.

A friend of mine purchased this same gun for 3L in Hyderabad. The only thing was that he wanted cash the same day.It came with a spare magazine, box and 50 remington 32 ACP rounds. The gun was in pretty good condition(90%). He has ordered mother of pearl grips from US which his brother will be getting this month.

I feel that this is an excellent buy.

I agree with Ashar , his friend got an excellent deal , that also with an extra mag and 50 rounds of Remington ammo.

My friend bought it ( the "green one" ) for 3.75L about one and a half years back. I think it is a very nice handgun.

I didn't say it's not nice and is unpleasant to shoot with. I just said it's ugly. To me it looks strange, sort of unbalanced.
That's a great deal your friend got there. I'm assuming it must have been a while ago?

AMK,

He go it a month back. Its not the 'green one' though. Poor fellow had to pay his mom's hospital bill I hear. God bless him.
