Meet up at Striker's place on Sunday

Unlike Bangalore, Delhi or Mumbai, Chennai has a very thin population of IFGians.. However, we try meeting at least once in a bluemoon and this Sunday was once such day. The evening was very eventful with Striker (Sankar) organising a meet at his place in Mangadu. My special thanks to Sankar for helping me zero my IOF .22

That's me firing my .22 IOF rifle. Sankar's brother-in-law Vijay (also a gun enthusiast and owner of a .22 Wiehrauch and a sharp shooter), and a colleague of Sankar are seen in the background.

These groups are of Sankar's Gamo CFX at 10 metres.

Obviously, Sankar is not in the picture as he was the one who clicked the photographs. We missed Tirtha badly. Hope he will join us the next time.

Nice pictures ebenezer and its always good to see IFG meet ups

BTW which ammo was used to zero your IOF .22.

Hi Indian,

The ammo used was KF. I didn't have stock of any other ammo.

Hi TenX,

We should have clicked the CFX and Wiehrauch also. We were concentrating more on zeroing the IOF. Will do it next time.

Looking very comfy there...

Matter of fact, thats a very nice stance there - head not much tilted, scope at the right distance from the eye, body slightly off the CoG line compensating for the rifle... well done

Hey guys - wonderful pics and am pleased to see fellow gun enthusiasts enjoy the day. A quick observation my friends -
I noticed the positions that you guys took while discharging the or pointing the firearm. It would be advisable to ensure that all non firing individuals are absolutely behind the firing line. Not on the side. This is a common and essential rule within the recreational shooting community and will keep you guys shooting well for a long time to come. Hope you dont mind me pointing this out but Safety must come First !
