Real wisdom TenX and elegantly written. Thanks much. looking forward to seeing you at the range this weekend.
I now understand the the mysterious allusions you and Mack The Knife were making about "a certain Range Officer's antics". Thanks for the complete absence of any warning - you fiends !

i am also very thankfull for others on this board who helped me with this topic.

All the best Raj :0
.. Hope you improve on the grouping front, although I should frankly say that much knowledge is sometimes a handicap, but a very dependable one. It may take a few practices for the results to be seen.. the best method for you, is something that comes over time, practice and experience... and becomes a part of you. So be patient and you will surely reap rewards.
All the very best :)

club members say that i have improved alot.as far as verticle-shift is considered,i have coped up with it as a result of tips given by you & Mr.TenX.
I will be posting the target papes soon.may be around 15-16th of this month.ammo is still a problem here.

Hi everyone,

Finally i m uploading the target paper.Due to valuable tips & guidings given by the senior members,i think i m able to rectify my problem.here is my recent target.it was at 15mtrs ,i fired 5 shots with my open iron-sight springer.
Image
the main reason(that i think ) responsible for the "vertical-shift" were :
--i was anticipating the shot.
--fake imsge of fore-sight due to straining of eyes.
---I have strong feelings about gun control. If there's a gun around, I want to be the one controlling it.

Great going Raj .. well done :)
I feel a champion is not necessarily one who can shoot great, but one who can also get to know his faults, correct them and try to shoot better.
The grouping posted by you, on a springer with open sights is really good.
Next, try to shoot a series of targets - say 12 targets with 5 shots each. Check for group variations caused by fatigue, muscle tiring, etc. Score them, and get to improve on it. There should be a time when your effort to shoot the first card and the last (12th) card does not have any change. This will mean your consistency to shoot evenly thru out a match, leading to great scores.
All the very best :)
