Here is a link that explains the trigger mechanism of the TX 200.
http://www.arld1.com/tx200trigger.html
Your air rifle may not have the exact mechanism, but it will be something similar. In my opinion, there are a few possibilities that your trigger may be slipping. In the below image, you will see that I have marked A, B & C. These three points are crucial in locking the trigger from discharging. If any of them are worn out/mis-aligned/etc, there is a good chance of the trigger to slip. Sometimes, the tension of the main spring will itself force any of these weaker points to 'give-in', and therefore discharge the pellet before voluntarily pressing the trigger.
There is also a possibility of Gremlins
You can also check out this link for the fraction of a second life of a shot in an air rifle:

Hope this helps

Thank you very much Tenx...that was pretty informative...Im attaching a picture of the G350 trigger assy. this could give you an idea...if you can mark the weak areas I would be grateful...the spring has been removed on quite a few occassions...im also contemplating changing to an IHP trigger..

Hi
What you have removed may not be problem source. I do think that the below area marked in the red ring could be bad, but I am not sure.
The other parts, mainly, the one that holds the compressed spring in place (A, in my previous image) is usually a problem area. You may have to completely remove the assembly to check this. Suggest you visit a gunsmith...

This is typical case for IHP. I must warn you, never put a strong spring in IHP. They use soft steel. They are easy to mill therefore cost effective production

Re: Help required from Mack The Knife...Gunmark350
Lazybones...I left the trigger alone..did not grease it..same with the piston hook
Thirtha..you are absolutely right...these guns cannot take strong springs...trigger will not hold up...piston seal and washer comes off...anything on the gun comes apart....how about this.. the scope rail with its three mounting screws on the G350 came off...before I approached the gunsmith with the trigger problem I replaced the existing Diana??? spring with a TASCO...the ones used by IHP....the snap back is much lesser but the problem continued ....you must tell us how you rectified Strikers' gun...pictures would be helpful ....
Sniper...the gunsmith informed me today that the rifle has been set right...he used another spring..will post details about the modifications tomorrow
