Looks like IHP kicks of all European gun and I think this is the time to sell their barrel against LW or HW.

What power scope would be ideal for long range air gun shooting ? 24x or more ? I'd say higher magnification would cause vignettiing or darkening even if the Objective is 56 mm or the tube is 30mm ? what say you ?

No offense, but I know three different people with three different guns (all IHP 25 and 35) who have shot and won medals with IHPs. One hole groups with the IHP .177 springers is possible.

Jetesh, there are many factors:

-Barrel technology
-Non Target Trigger
-Vibration
-Recoil
-hold sensitivity
-pellets quality
-Muzzle Velocity
-Wind

You may be a good shooter which I believe you are but the above factors are not let you.

Any question?

You guys are must be wrong somewhere.

Statistics shows:
Match rifles made for 10m shooting only can get .1"
All premium FT guns can get .2" therefore more than 2" at 50 meters

I have a reason to believe wit IHP it is not possible. I am sure no one can provide data that prove 1.5" at 50m with IHP.

Thirtha...the only thing that comes across my mind when I go out to shoot is, I see a 3'' dia can at 50m and the idea is to get the pellets through it...thats all. damn if it grouped 1.5''...physics of the gun/dynamics etc., etc., I let these things rest...if the gun dont shoot them I bring myself another un...if it dont too..then i shoot the can point blank...Im a 36 year old engineer ...too old to do a Bindra act...I work as an EC&I GM with a power plant company...and if I cant bust too many things that hager around me the whole day...I might as well be happy busting cans....

jeetesh, 1.5" group at 50m ??? are you kidding? in 9x you cannot see the group at all!! You really need 12~16x for that.

I'm not so sure about this. I can see pellet impact points someone has made on whitewashed cement in my neighborhood at 125 meters (Plus/minus a bit as I dont have a laser rangefinder yet) through a Leatherwood scope (not the best optics around) at 9X. All I'm sure about that my eyesight is not what it used to be! Also, I'm sure on a paper target, we will manage to see 1.5" groups at less than 9X.
