Here are some thousands of words on my journey across Assam
Beginning with the exotic fare etc.
Fish being cooked In bamboo.
The river shots are that of Brahmaputra. The wilderness shot is that of Kaziranga national park. The bedroom is to reveal how rough and tough it was.

And the fare on the table is river prawn cooked in bamboo, plus fish cooked in banana leaf etc. Then some shots of the tea gardens and the bunglow where we stayed.
Enjoy.

Dev,
You need to resize the photos to 640x480 and repost them.

Apologies I hadn't figured out how to resize the pics till late last night. Just got them done. I hope you enjoy them. I couldn't catch any as I got barely an hour at each place after driving 240 KM to the gardens. And leaving next day to drive another 220 km. And then leaving for Guwahati the day after that. In winter sundown is by 4.30 pm and so by the time lunch was had and I rushed to the venue it was a tight fight but I tried. The reward was enjoying the tranquility of the riverside and a lowering in my B.P.

Told ya I was roughing it out

.
The hearty fare.
The river of my dreams.
I am adding more pics from the trip. If you want to see tea gardens, a tea bunglow, a pic of Kaziranga but bereft of any animals.
Regards,
Dev

Fish in banana leaf.
A garden in full bloom.
The tea garden's Cessna
Kaziranga from the Bura Pahar (old mountain) side.
