Re: Scope help
Opened the scope ring and checked it, nothing seems to be wrong with it. Everything is in order including the parts that Tenx mentioned.

Good that you think there is nothing wrong with the parts. May I suggest that you move the rod part of the screw thru th entire gap of Part B. This will let you know accurately of the gap is uneven. Although it looks correct, sometimes the gap may have closed in, making movement of the screw-rod a little tight...R-Dhillon";p="58230 wrote: Opened the scope ring and checked it, nothing seems to be wrong with it. Ah! We have our own scope technician! Great Job Tenx!
I dont think the nitrogen seal will be a biggie if you take proper care. After all whats better? No Scope or No nitrogen!
Also, why dont you dip the hairs in glow in the dark paint to get IR!? That should work!
Hey I was wondering, whats stopping people from using clear sheets with the crosshairs printed on em? Is it cause of the light transmission? or something else?

I had an old bottle of glow in the dark paint, but it looked too thick to be put on cross hairs...Mo";p="58271 wrote: ...why dont you dip the hairs in glow in the dark paint to get IR!? That should work!...
If plastic sheets is used, it may become wavy and loose over time (and heat, etc). If glass is used, its great, I guess. Many scopes come with reticles etched on glass.Mo";p="58271 wrote: ...whats stopping people from using clear sheets with the crosshairs printed on em?...
