Mack The Knife,
And if Diskaon can also not make it.. I will be waiting :)

I have two weekends before my classes start again, and would love to get in the waters both weekends, if it suits you :)

Suits me just fine. Will take Mo and Diskaon some other time.

I will call the office tomorrow morning and see if I can get us a booking for this weekend or the next.

Hi Mack The Knife,

I am also interested and would like to join you guys. I am interested to see what angling is all about, to experience the thrill of patiently waiting to get a tug on my line, after reading your Wasi weekend reports and other fishing trip reports.

I must admit that though I presently dont have any intension of getting a new tackle and fishing rods, I dont see anything stopping me from getting the stuff if i get hooked to fishing. :D

Will await my turn. :)

@Pran & TenX- Thank you, for the compliments.

Well i had a patient guy teaching me so it was good.

A few things for wannabe anglers from the perspective of a newbie( I made theses mistakes)

1. Take a HaT or cap. Sunglasses are not enough. After reaching home i got a bit disoriented, maybe the after effects of a very mild sun stroke.

2. Drink a lot of water, wether you are thursty or not.

3. Rub a lot of sunscreen, unless you want to boast a Tan.

4. The coracle has four seats, one for the guy who paddles. It is not possible for three guys to comfartbly cast without disturbing the other. So if more than one of you is planning to go with Rusty, make some arrangements for timepass....each round of the lake takes about 3.5 hours, before and after lunch.

The last and the most important.........dont upset the big man, he only has to shift his bottom a bit to to dunk you in the water :)

Good you brought this up...

Here is what I do.. I also carry a piece of nice cotton cloth with me and drop it around the sides and back of my head before I wear the cap. Prevents the ears/neck from experiencing too much sun :)

Next, how many ever the damn coracle has, only three (one guard and two anglers) are allowed.. :)

The one big improvement I noticed was the extra smiles the guards had.. You should see their pics when they escort Mack The Knife alone :) :)

And lastly, who was the patient guy you mentioned... did not see anyone else in the pics :) :)
